1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking spice
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 tsp grated lemon zest
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
2 tsp all-purpose flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease the butter mold with butter.
Whisk butter, sugar, lemon juice, and eggs in a large bowl. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the egg mixture with the milk, whisking well after each addition. Add the blueberries, nuts, and lemon juice.
Bake in preheated oven for about 50 minutes, until a toothpick is inserted in the center of the bun and comes out clean. Refrigerate the bread in a skillet and serve.
